Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open at Magic Kingdom in Disney World on June 28, 2024. Annual Passholder previews take place on June 13, 14, 16, 17, 18 and 20. The highly anticipated log flume ride is inspired by “The Princess and The Frog” movie.
Disney Announced Two Ways Guests Will Be Able To Ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
As expected, Tiana’s will use a virtual queue. Guests can request to join the virtual queue using the My Disney Experience app at either 7 am or 1 pm. While a standby queue will not be available during the attraction’s initial opening days, Disney expects to open a standby queue soon after the attraction’s opening. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will also be included as a Lightning Lane entrance in the Disney Genie+ service. Pricing for Genie+ currently ranges from $23 to $39 per guest per day. It will not be available for purchase as an Individual Lightning Lane ride.
The History Of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
We said farewell to Splash Mountain on January 23, 2023 when it closed to begin the development of the new attraction. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be a musical adventure boat ride in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom. The attraction picks up right after the end of “The Princess and the Frog” film. The Disney teams did extensive research in New Orleans to help capture the soul of Louisiana — including the iconic rhythm and blues music! The attraction will feature original music inspired by songs from the film.
